What this site is
www.johanan.in is a personal portfolio operated by Johanan S. A. from Tamil Nadu, India. It publishes his education, work, skills, papers, and projects so people and agents can verify who he is. It is not a shop, not a SaaS product, and not a data broker. There is no advertising network, no marketing pixel, and no sale of visitor lists.
The public pages are meant to be read. Crawlers and agents that identify themselves may fetch those pages, /llms.txt, and /sitemap.xml. Admin routes under /admin and API routes under /api/ are not public and should not be crawled.
What is stored
Theme preference (light, dark, or system) is stored in your browser with localStorage. That value never leaves the device. If you sign in to the admin area, session cookies from the authentication layer are used only to keep that session. There is no public account signup and no newsletter.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may process connection metadata (IP address, User-Agent, timestamps) to serve the site, absorb abuse, and operate DNS. Those logs are handled under Cloudflare's terms, not used here to build a profile or to sell ads. Email you send to contact@johanan.in is read to reply. He does not add you to a list or share the message with third parties except when needed to fulfill your request.
Your requests
To ask what is held about you, or to ask that an email thread be deleted, write to contact@johanan.in with the subject "Privacy request" and enough detail to find the messages. There is no automated subject-access portal because the only personal data typically held is mail you chose to send. This page is the privacy notice for the portfolio. It does not cover third-party sites linked from here (GitHub, IEEE, Apple Music, Spotify).
